Hunter’s Room

Hunter has been begging for her own room for a couple of years now. I wasn’t against it, but I was trying to decide if I was ready to move Harper downstairs. Spoiler- I wasn’t! While she waited for me to make up my mind, she kind of slowly moved herself into our guest room instead! Ha! It actually worked out well. But it needed a few changes to make it feel more like a teen space and match her style. Over the last couple of months we have taken the time to do just that and love how it turned out!! Sharing all the fun details with you today!

The biggest change we made to the space was the wallpaper. Prior to her taking over the space, it was a very neutral guest room. She didn’t want anything too crazy, just a pop of pink. We didn’t find anything we both loved, so we reached out to Indigo Design and were able to design this custom wallpaper together! They are so great to work with and help you incorporate all your ideas to find just what you are looking for! I love that it brings in color but isn’t too in your face! When it comes to bedding you know we love all things Cariloha! Their sheets, pillows, and duvets are dreamy so that was for sure one of Hunter’s biggest requests! You can use code KW to save site wide as well! In addition to that we just added a few pillows and a throw blanket we already had upstairs in the house, to accent the white bedding. I love how it keeps it simple but adds a little bit of color for her.

Everything else in the space we kept as it was originally in the guest room, with a few more small pops of pink like this pillow and vase.  I love that we were able to transform the space, but not have to have a big budget. We hope you love it too!
