When it comes to stocking my closet, my number one goal is VERSATILITY. You will very rarely, if ever, find something in my closet that can’t be worn a variety of ways. : WITH A SKIRT
If you know me, you know I love an unexpected fashion pairing. A graphic tee and skirt? Yes please! When the cooler temps roll in, I like to swap out the graphic tee and pair my skirts with a sweatshirt. It is such a fun way to “bend the rules”. It can still read as super comfortable and laid back, or you can dress it up a little bit with your shoe choice.

: WITH A BLAZER
When you think of styling a sweatshirt, I’m guessing adding more layers on top usually doesn’t come to your mind. But it should! This is a great way to elevate your basic everyday sweatshirt. It takes you away from the lounge style casual look and gives it a crisp elegant style. For this look I went with a blazer. It would also be so cute with a trench coat as well. Pair it with some fitted skinny jeans, the right jewelry, and some great boots or heels, and you’ve completely transformed the normal sweatshirt look.

This is the classic go to style we all know and love. Is there anything more comfortable (besides pajamas) than a good quality pair of leggings and a sweatshirt when those temperatures drop? I love that this look alone can be accessorized in so many ways. You can keep it classic with a baseball hat and sneakers. Or you can give it more of an edge and pair it with black combat boots.
