Four Denim Staples you Must Have in Your Closet

Kailee_denim-42=Stripe top  |  black jeans   |  denim vest  |  black booties (similar here)  |  necklace  |  lips (color snob)

Today I’ve teamed up with Nordstrom today to give you my FOUR MUST HAVE DENIM pieces you need in your closet for fall (well any season for that matter)!! Haha. These are items I wear constantly!! I would say at least a couple times a week. They never go out of style and can be carried over from season to season!! I usually will invest a little bit more in staple pieces because I know I will be wearing them a ton. They aren’t a trendy item so you will wear them for years to come. I always say invest in items that are timeless!!

Denim Jeans : everyone needs (yes everyone needs) a great pair of denim jeans!! I love anything distressed right now!! Plus, I LOVE these jeans as well!!

Denim Jacket : how is it that this jacket NEVER goes out of style? If you have followed along here for awhile you know how much I love my denim jacket!! I wore it almost daily through my entire pregnancy + it just goes with everything!!

Black Jeans : black is ALWAYS flattering on EVERYONE!! So invest in a great pair…they are just as important as having a pair of black leggings!! It took me about 6 tries to find a good pair of black jeans. I absolutely love these ones + here.

Denim Vest : such a great layering piece for fall + I love that fact that you can move better in a vest. This is essential for me with my little people + so easy for nursing Houston. I say always go for a slightly tighter fit, just so you don’t feel so bulky.

I hope you enjoy both looks! Where is your favorite place to snag the best denim?
