Since all the kids have been back in school Hayden and I (and baby) have just started talking walks in the afternoon. She has her little TK homework and a lot of it includes just being outdoors and having her observe the shapes + colors around her. It’s been fun to have some one on one time with her.
We have had two cooler days this week and it has felt amazing!! So we’ve pulled out a few of our fall staples over here. It never gets very cold in Southern California so our fall/winter wardrobe isn’t too different from summer.
One thing I love to have are a few great pairs of tennies for me and the little’s that transition well with any outfit. I just picked up these darling Supergas for myself + Hayden from Zappos. Hayden love’s to wear her “shiny” Metalic Supergas almost everyday and I love that she can wear them to school to play in. Afterward I can easily just wipe them down with a damp cloth and they’ll look like new! I also love that I can pair them with almost every one of her outfits — from dresses to shorts and jeans!!
My dress, on the other hand, is not maternity and the perfect casual dress to pair with a fun colored pair of tennies. I am always a fan of the classic black and white basic tennis shoe — so I decided to venture out this time and grab these mustard colored ones to change things up.
I love to shop at Zappos for all my people + myself because of their free shipping! Plus, their simple returns make it so much easier for this mama of 4 (soon to be 5) when I’m shopping online. There’s a huge range of styles and items to choose from (like this darling dress I’m dying over) + I can always count on our packages arriving with in two days! Win-win in my book. What are some of your favorite activities to do with your younger ones?!
