There’s something about the holiday anticipation that brings out the baking lover in me! I have always loved doing it, but around the holidays it is so fun, and my kids love it!! So I thought it would be fun and fitting for the holidays to start us off with a yummy treat that is a family favorite around here, Snowball Cookies!
This snowball cookie recipe is from Joe’s Grandma Wright, or as we call her Grandma Delta. Grandma Delta is hands down one of the best bakers I have ever met! The minute she would find out someone is traveling through town; she would start baking so she could have a warm treat ready for our arrival. Like a lot of women from that generation, she wasn’t quick to give up her recipes. It took a few years of convincing and begging, but over the years she would slowly let them out, and we are so grateful now that she can no longer bake. This Snowball Cookie recipe is one that is so fun and easy to whip up with kids! I hope you love it as much as we do!
