Next up in our Gift Guide Mania this week is Kids! When we asked for your gift guide requests over on Instagram, hands down one of the most requested was “Non-Toy Gift Ideas for Kids”. It made me so happy that all of you are in the same boat as me where you feel like toys are taking over and you just don’t need more! So I really loved putting this post together of 5 ideas your kids (and you!) are sure to love this Christmas!

:: MONTHLY DATES

One of the trickier things to having 5 kids is a BUSY schedule. Sometimes it feels like we are constantly on the go. As parents, one of our top concerns + focuses was if each of our people is getting enough one on one time with us. Having that strong bond individually with each of them is so important to us, so we started what we call our Kid Dates. You should all know by now how much I LOVE these boxes. We’ve been getting them for over a year now and love them every single month. Another gift idea for kids we’ve done in the past that has been a huge hit is photo books. They love going back and looking at them throughout the year. One of my favorite ways to do them as a gift is to create a personalized book for each kid highlighting their year. I will just scroll through my photos or Instagram and pick out all of my favorites and put them in individual folders on my computer. Then you can use Shutterfly to order the cutest books and it is SO easy! I love that you can make them as detailed or as simple as you want, and change the backgrounds and colors to match each kids style.

Last but not least is one of my favorite ideas, classes. Similar to the passes idea, it is gifting them something to go out and do. What I love about this is they are getting to learn a new skill and try something new! It is even better when you can sign up together!
